Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actress is best known for her performances as Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. Also, she played the characters in the telefilm Nightingales, the NBC series with similar name (which lasted only a few episodes) and Erica Paget from the CBS show Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio on the TV show Psych. Swanson is a native Californian. She developed an early passion for acting. She started her career as an actor in commercials. Her first appearance on TV was in an NBCs It's Your Move sitcom episode from 1984. In 1986's romantic comedy Pretty in Pink, Swan made her debut on the bigscreen. Famous for her blonde hair and the breathless voiceSwan has been relegated to playing minor characters over the last few times. Flowers in the Attic won her the Young Artist Award in the category of the best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Picture in 1989.
