April Lockhart

April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th day of July. She began piano and guitar lessons from seven years old. The passion for writing songs was ignited. April Lockhart composed her first track"Different" at twelve years old. The singer spent much of her the time of 14 composing songs and experimenting with the piano. Over the next few years, she took notes with her father to LA as well as NY. April also began to include other related topics for some of her classmates who struggle with issues such as peer pressure disabilities and even teens who commit suicide through the songs"Take my Hand. Lockhart, a popular lifestyle blogger and having partnerships with clean beauty brands Ilia, has built a large following. The truth is that she was born with no left hand and that makes her unique. But this isn't the only aspect that makes her unique. Lockhart acknowledges her handicap in her posts on Instagram, however she does not make it the main focus of the post. What is the message? It's this That we all carry multiple identities and are more complex than we think we're. Lockhart said via video that she didn't want to be defined solely by her handicap. She doesn't want to become a disability advocate who only speaks about it. There are a lot of aspects to Lockhart. It doesn't impact my everyday life. I still do all the normal things and I've adapted to the limitations of my disability. It's also a part of my personality, and it should be discussed. Lockhart is a huge example to other women regarding self-acceptance. However, she admits to going through phases of being uncomfortable with her body, and also feeling uncomfortable in certain clothes that exposed her arms. Today, she wears anything she'd like. She also posts her photos on social media. The self-love she talks about is a process. I'm not sure when you'll reach the end. But, this isn't common for anyone who has insecurities. I believe that it's really important to surround yourself with people who are able to identify and feel your heart.
